What you get

  • Outdoor space you actually use

A deck sized and laid out for how you live — morning coffee, dinner for twelve, or both.

  • Designed to fit the house

Lines, levels, and materials that look like they were always part of the architecture.

  • Built to last in Maine

Correct framing, spacing, flashing, and fasteners, so the structure stays sound for decades.

  • Wood or composite

Natural wood for warmth and cost, composite for low maintenance — we build both.

  • Permits handled

We pull the permits and deal with inspections so you do not have to.

  • Real added value

A well-built deck is one of the few outdoor projects that returns what you put into it.

Our approach

High-quality materials and craftsmanship

We use only quality materials, wood or composite, and our craftsmen pay attention to the details you never see — framing, spacing, flashing, and fasteners. That is what makes a deck still feel solid in fifteen years.

How it works

  1. 1

    Design consultation

We talk through how you want to use the space, your budget, and the look you want, then measure the site.

  2. 2

    Plan and permit

We produce a detailed design and take care of the permits and inspection scheduling.

  3. 3

    Prepare the site

We clear the area, set footings below the frost line, and lay out the structure.

  4. 4

    Frame and deck

We build the framing to code, then install decking, railings, stairs, and any built-in features.

  5. 5

    Finish and walk through

We add lighting, seating, or trim details, clean the site, and hand the deck over with its warranties.

Materials we use

We build with your choice of natural wood or low-maintenance composite decking, on properly sized and coded framing, with railing, lighting, and fastener systems chosen to match the deck and your budget.

FAQ

Deck Building questions, answered

Wood or composite — which should I build?
Wood costs less up front, looks warmer, and needs a finish every few years. Composite costs more up front and needs almost nothing after. If you would rather not stain a deck again, composite pays for itself over time.
Do you handle the permits?
Yes. We pull the permits, build to code, and schedule the inspections as part of the job.
Can you build a multi-level deck or add a pergola?
Yes. Multi-level layouts, built-in seating, planters, pergolas, lighting, and custom railing are all things we design and build regularly.
How long does a deck take to build?
Most residential decks take one to three weeks on site once permits are in hand. Size, levels, and features drive the difference, and we give you a schedule with the proposal.
